- LA NOTIZIA – Il 32enne sciatore canadese Erik Guay ha appena vinto la discesa libera della Val Gardena, valevole come gara di Coppa del Mondo 2013-2014. Al secondo posto il norvegese Kjetil Jansrud, staccato di 12 centesimi di secondo. Tezo gradino del podio per il francese Johan Clarey, giunto al traguardo con uno svantaggio di 24 centesimi. Due gli italiani nei primi 10: Werner Hell (ottavo) e Peter Fill (decimo). Fuori dai primi 30, e quindi dalla zona punti, Silvano Varettoni (trentatreesimo), Christof Innerhofer (trentaseiesimo), Mattia Casse e Siegmar Klotz. Questi ultimi due si sono piazzati al cinquantaquattresimo posto con lo stesso tempo.
